uninstall + install pdfcreator without reboot ?

Hello,
I have to uninstall + install pdfcreator but i shall NOT reboot the computer.
So i wonder what programs/drivers/files/... I should shut down or delete to do that successfully.
I already tried to restart spoolsrv.exe but then I don't know what to do.
Please, help.

hello,
normally, restarting the spooler should be enough. so you can call (via command line)
net stop spooler
net start spooler
and then the spooler service is restartet.

Thanks for your help.
It tried that by different ways :
- Stop the spooler before uninstall and start it after
- Stop/start the spooler after uninstall
It always asks me to restart the system.
any other idea(s) ?

To be more precise, I'm trying that on Win XP.
