New Forums
Dear users of PDFCreator,
we have done a major update in our content management system and thus the old forum posts could not be imported. We apologize for this. We hope to be able to provide as much as possible of the old knowledge here soon.
This update improves the site by making it more accessible and it runs on a more powerful server, to face the server outages in the last time. The new site will be available in english and german. More languages may follow, as we find people to reliably translate it.
kind regards,
Philip
Heh, I better save my posts for later reuse :)
Anyway, I think I can say it for the most of us:
It is very important to have the contents of the old forum back, even if it is a plain extract of the database. You promised us (the post got deleted) to take care of this problem :D
I concur with SanskritFritz that we wold very much like to get the old forum content back because that is the only source of real information as there is no developer documentation available as such as I know of.
Thanks a lot in advance

update: the sort orders in the forum are changed now: the newest threads are on top, while inside the thread, the newest entry is at the bottom, as I think that is the native way to read it.
The old forum content is now available here:
http://www.pdfforge.org/files/old_forum/index.html
it looks ugly, but it works for the moment ;-)
Thanks a LOT Philip. It really helps.
Availability of old forum. even in not-so-great format is 1000 times better than not able to access that information at all.
Thanks again

update: There has been a problem in creating new forum threads. This is solved now, but today's forum posts got lost in the process. I apologize for this and hope that the forum now works as expected (post done as standard user)
