Make PDF Creator use Postscript fonts instead of Windows Truetype fonts

Submitted by micha99 on Thu, 03/18/2010 - 10:26

Great Application!

Could you please be so kind to help me with following problem?

On Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with PDFCreator 0.9.9 I have following problem with Ghostscript settings:

When I disable "Use Windows Fonts" it does not seem to have any effects.

Still Truetype fonts are used in the created PDF files. (Email printed from Thunderbird 3)

 Hello !

I want to use PDFCreator to create PDF automatically with C# code and I couldn't find any documentation on the DFCreator SDK.

Do you know where can I find this documentation ?

(I don't need installation samples)

Thanks in advance,

AmoK.

Printing hangs on message "Printing <file> on the PDFCreator Language Setup"

Submitted by throby on Tue, 03/16/2010 - 20:00

Hello,

I am using PDF Creator 0.9.9 and when I try printing a file (that contains a drawing) out of Archibus, I get a message that says "Printing <file> on the PDFCreator Language Setup".  This message stays forever until I close the application.  I do the same thing on another PC, and instead of getting the message above, I get one that shows the status (how many pages) of the print job.

This keeps producing a blank page with an error in the log file.

Is this a supported feature?

No Save-As dialog box

Submitted by TheCuddlyPanda on Tue, 03/16/2010 - 12:29

Hi,

I purchased pdfcreator v9.6 off ebay, but although it seemed to install correctly, it would show PDFCreator as one of my printers, but when I selected it to print, it doesn't bring up anything, nothing to save it to, and I can't find it anywhere if it has autosaved.

I went to the website and downloaded v9.9.  I uninstalled c9.6 and reinstalled v9.9 but the sme problem happens.

I am using windows7.  Can anyone help?

Thanks

How to convert pdf to bmp?

Submitted by lisyqiao on Tue, 03/16/2010 - 04:29

As we all know, PDF means portable document format that can not be read directly and if you want to read the PDF files, you must use the special PDF reader, so most of people who has the lots of PDF files usually want to know how to read PDF files freely and whether I can read PDF documents without PDF reader? Next, the best answer is PDF to BMP.

save as dialog pops up all the time in endless loop

Submitted by nefast2 on Mon, 03/15/2010 - 22:35

hello,

after an upgrade from windows vista to windows 7 i had problems with pdfcreator.

i uninstalled it and installed the newest version of pdfcreator. it's working but printing let the "save as dialog" pop up all the time. i mean: i choose save in the dialog and it's saving the pdf file but after that the save dialog appears again (and again and again...). i have to kill the program with the task manager.

what i call "save as dialog" is in fact the dialog from pfd creator where i can choose save, email, wait etc.

anyone knows help?

give filename to PDF before print

Submitted by redeboer on Mon, 03/15/2010 - 11:42

Hello,

I am testing PDF creator and it is working fine. I have a queston about filenames. I would like to save the PDF file with a given filename that is auto generated from our system.

Any ideas how I can set this up.

Thanks
